Social & Audience Content

Ideal For

Someone who has grown a channel and now wants full ownership of voice, spend, and measurement across every channel the organization owns.

The Social & Audience Content Coordinator owns the channels the organization speaks to its audience through directly, and the voice used across them.

Core Duties

  • Own the platform voice guide and the approval chain for published, sent, and paid content.
  • Own paid campaign approval: no campaign launches without coordinator review of targeting, spend, creative, and disclaimers.
  • Hold ad platform account administration, access control, and multi-factor authentication standards.
  • Ensure political and issue advertising meets platform verification and disclaimer requirements, and route messaging questions to counsel before launch.
  • Own budget pacing and reconciliation against approved spend; interns do not hold budget authority.
  • Serve as final approval on posts, sends, and episode publications.
  • Maintain the unified content and send calendar to manage audience fatigue across channels.
  • Own community management standards, including escalation rules for hostile or sensitive engagement.
  • Track and report channel growth, engagement, and conversion performance to senior staff.
  • Monitor platform policy changes affecting political and issue content and adjust practice accordingly.
  • Coordinate segmentation requirements with the Operations department.
  • Recruit for the portfolio's three postings and identify advancement candidates.

Role-Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; demonstrated experience growing or managing owned channels.
  • Working fluency across major social platforms, paid ad managers, email platforms, and podcast distribution.
  • Working knowledge of political and issue advertising platform requirements.
  • Comfort making rapid publication judgments with permanent consequences.
  • Willingness to supervise and coach content produced by others.
  • Availability evenings and weekends around events and news cycles.
